Good News, Everyday Angels

Good News, Everyday AngelsThis section of our Web site was inspired by the tragic events of Tuesday September 11, 2001, a day that will live in all our minds as one of the saddest days around the world. That day also showed us how compassionate the human spirit can be. Strangers reached out to the victims and family members with words of support, blood donations, and financial assistance and above all else a sense of unity in the face of war.

We invite you to post about people and events that moved you. A stranger that reached out and offered their hand in difficult times. A child that taught you the true meaning of love. The tragedy of September 11th has shown us that there are some amazing people in this world that do amazing things despite the odds against them. Although this section was inspired by the tragedy it is going to be a permanent section on our Web site to celebrate people and their lives in everyday miracles and random acts of kindness.

We are born, we live, and we die. What we do in between is what life is all about. It’s the little lessons we learn everyday that make up our lives and our view of the world. Looking at a grasshopper with a toddler can teach us not just about grasshoppers but how to view the world with the wonderment of a child. We have all heard stories of dogs rescuing their owners from a burning building, but what about the dogs that don’t perform such heroics but are there at our feet, eyes full of trust and love, being there for a hug when you have had a bad day at work. Life…. it’s what it’s all about. Our Good News section will be about life and we encourage you to post about those day to day miracles and lessons you experience.

This is a time to remember those we love, and what is really important in life. "Everyday Angels", to celebrate those ordinary people who acted in an extraordinary way.
