We’re here to spread the news on online safety, privacy and security.
To make sure you never miss a deadline when using us as a resource, call Parry’s number below. If she is out of the country, alternative numbers will be on her message. WiredSafety continues to both make news and be part of the news.
WiredSafety and its family of programs and sites [WiredKids.org, WiredPatrol.org and CyberLawEnforcement.org] want to thank the BBC and Bob MacLaughlin for the incredible special accompanying book designed to protect children from predators online.
We are honored to have worked with Bob and the BBC, and recommend Bob's book without reservation. Follow this link to buy it. A portion of the sale price is donated to our programs for every book purchased from this link.
Bob began his work in connection with online sexual predators in 1993, and his wonderful squad at the Met (Scotland Yard) has been a powerful force worldwide in protecting children online. Bob is the latest recipient of our coveted Cyberlawenforcement Visionary Awards, and has assisted us in our videos for the U.K. on online safety to be launched in July.
A brilliant documentary, a brilliant man....working to make the Internet safer. We are honored to have Bob serve on our advisory board, and look forward to his continued success and our continued collaboration.
WiredSafety has more U.K. volunteers and programs than any other online safety group. Its webmaster and designer, and head of European Operations are also from the UK, and Wired Safety's executive director, Parry Aftab, a renowned cyberspace lawyer specializing in privacy and security law, serves on the U.K. Home Office Cybercrime Taskforce. WiredSafety helps protect U.K. Internet users online, using trained U.K. volunteers from the age of 7 to the age of 86 and teaches them how to enjoy the Internet safely.
