Targeting Cybertots . . . Marketing to Children Online

As more and more kids are getting online, more and more advertisers are marketing to kids online and seeking private information about them and about their parents in order to better define that marketing. Online advertising, unfortunately, when compared to television advertising, is still the Wild West when it comes to marketing to kids - the Wild West during the early Gold Rush days.
