Rules
- A chatter may not be in a warez or hacking channel and in a WiredPatrol,
WiredChat channel at the same time.
- Using ALL CAPS when chatting is considered shouting and is inappropriate.
- Initiating private messages with other users without their permission
is not allowed.
- Popups and sounds are not permitted in WiredPatrol, WiredChat help
channels.
- "Ops begging" is not permitted in WiredPatrol, WiredChat channels.
- All WiredPatrol, WiredChat channels encourage clean chat, and users
who enter our channels will, at all times, be protected from harassment
or inappropriate conversation. Therefore, dating and "pick ups" will
not be allowed in any WiredPatrol, WiredChat channel.
- Unless officially authorized to do so, a user MAY NOT help in the
WiredPatrol, WiredChat channels. Only WiredPatrol, WiredChat ops may
offer assistance to victims.
- "Age/sex/location" - "asl" - may not be asked for or given in any
WiredPatrol, WiredChat channel. Offenders will be advised in private
message of the security reasons behind this rule.
- A user may not be in a WiredPatrol, WiredChat channel while also in
any of the following channels: a teen/child sex channel, a combination
of both a teen/children's channel and an adult channel, or any teen/children's
channel which has been determined to be of a questionable environment
for promoting the safety of young people.
- Foul language will not be permitted in any WiredPatrol, WiredChat
channel.
- Flooding or repeating will not be permitted in any WiredPatrol, WiredChat
channel.
- Intentional Clones are not permitted in WiredPatrol, WiredChat channels.
- People with inappropriate/whois info, will be asked to leave the channel
and change it. If they refuse, they will be asked to leave and not return.
- People with inappropriate nicks will be asked to change them or leave.
- People with extremely offensive nicks will be kicked with the private
message "Use a clean nick, and you will be welcome to return."
- No advertising or inviting will be allowed in WiredPatrol, WiredChat
channels by non-WiredPatrol, WiredChat members.
