Joining WiredSafety as a volunteer

Volunteering with WiredSafetyThis section of the WiredSafety Web site has been created to help you understand the application and orientation process, specifically for volunteers from the United Kingdom, and in addtion, to answer your questions about what happens when you volunteer for WiredSafety.

If you are not a U.K. citizen, please refer to our main Volunteer Section.

First steps

To begin with, we would like to thank you for your interest in WiredSafety, and commend your willingness to volunteer your time to making a difference. We are all so very happy to see you here.

If you have not already done so, you should browse our Web site and learn a little about us before you complete your volunteer aplication. Read our Code of Conduct and our Mission Statement, see what types of programs and assistance we offer. We often look for volunteers who have specific skills, you can find those details at our Help Wanted page.

We would also like to ask that when you have a question, you try looking on the Web site first. Our Volunteer FAQ and in the Wired-Ed section should answer most of your questions. Your help here gives us more time to take care of our main mission - helping victims, providing support and educating the public on Internet safety. Thank you for your cooperation.

Once you have a sense of what you might like to help with, proceed to Step One, and you will be on your way!

Thanks for applying to WiredSafety
We'll be getting back to you ASAP!
