AN ACT To amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 39, Chapter 17, relative to criminal offenses.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:
SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 39-17-308(a)(1), is amended by inserting the language "or by electronic communication, including electronic mail or internet services," after the language "in writing," and before the language "to take action".
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect January 1, 2002, the public welfare requiring it.
