Crazed Cybermom
Not one of the "other moms"
"Those days"...we all have them. Some of us more than others.
This section of our site takes a look at some of the more chaotic moments in the life of our own "Crazed Cybermom".
Kids do say some funny things and some cute things. Sometimes they say things you rather wish they hadn't [usually when you have company] but my kids, most often, come out with a surreal comment or impossible question which often have me laughing until I cry. Here are some of my daughter's more memorable quotes.
- Do cats know what they look like? Like, does a black cat know it is black?
- When my cat sees its reflection, does she recognize herself?
- I wish I was an only child but I would still like my brother to be my brother.
- If we spend this life being good so we have a better next life, then when we get our next life we can't remember our previous life, what's the point in being good because you won't know if you are having a better life, will you?
- I have an NSPCC Tipline Card and I know how to use it.
- and [my current favorite, on arriving home from school as indignant as heck]
"They gave us a spelling test today!" [said with venom]
"Did they sweetie?"
"Yes and there were 80 words and they didn't even warn us!" [said with disgust]
"Oooh, that is a lot. You didn't know you were having a test?"
"Nope, they were testing us to see if anyone needed learning support" [said with exasperation]before I could answer, this was followed by, and with real derision:
-muttering under breath-
"...for 80 spellings...everyone will need learning support..."
