  Break-Out Workshops - Three of these topics will be offered based on interest.
       
      1. Cyberbullying and the Law - Free speech versus regulation, when do mean words cross the line? What's the limit of a school's authority for off-premises speech and actions? Current laws and what's coming? Lawyers, regulators, school administrators and civil rights advocates explore the current state of the law and its limits.
      2. Teaching Kindness and Respect - What programs work and don't? How can schools address cyberbullying through education and through peer-counseling programs? How young do we have to start? Educators and non-profits in the field
explore efficacy and trends, failures and successes.
      3. Cyberbullying Hurts! - When mean words kill, increasing numbers of suicides stemming from cyberbullying. The emotional quotient and the 15 mgs of fame factors.
Desensitization and not a tough kid, just playing one on the Internet. Mental health experts, families torn apart by cyberbullying, guidance counselors explore the psychological aspects of cyberbullying and leading cases that highlight the
pain victims feel.
      4. Herding Cats! - What's involved in managing cyberbullying risks in a social network or Web 2.0 provider? Who's doing it right and who isn't? Learning from those in the trenches and better ways of managing risks. Moderators, safety officers and customer service managers from the leading networks discuss the trials and tribulation, along with experts in risk management and safety advocates.
      5. StopCyberbullying! - Youth speaks out and seeks solutions that work for them. What can young people do to curtail the problem? What help do they need from the industry? Media? Educators? What disconnects exist between young people and
their parents? A dialogue between young people and the stakeholders, lead by WiredSafety's award-winning Teenangels and Tweenangels.
 
  6. Virtual Worlds and Multi-Player Online Games - Kids, teens and the sites explore how young people are tormenting each other using gaming and virtual worlds, and how cyberbullying is trending younger and younger. It will also address how certain
gaming networks are handling cyberbullying, what works and what doesn't.
